“Working together for a better future for Perth.”

Lisa Scaffidi
Lord Mayor, City of Perth

CitySwitch Western Australia

Launched in Perth on World Environment Day in June 2008, the City of Perth has joined other city councils around Australia in establishing CitySwitch Green Office as a national tenant energy efficiency program.

Perth-based Signatories cover a wide range of sectors and represent many of Australia’s leading companies. To date, 42 organisations have joined the program locally representing 220,105sqm or 13 percent of commercial office space. The City of Perth would like to thank these organisations for their significant contribution and ongoing commitment to the program.

The City of Perth regularly hosts events and site tours for CitySwitch Signatories covering a range of energy efficiency topics. The most recent Cafe Series event including a tour of their sustainable new tenancy was held at the  Signatory office of  ISIS Group Australia.

City of Perth NABERS Energy Assessment Grant

CitySwitch City of Perth is offering a matching fund grant to help meet the cost of a NABERS energy assessment. The grant is 50% of the cost of the assessment to a maximum value of $1000.

All commercial office tenants within the city of Perth who become signatories to CitySwitch from 1 September 2011 onwards are eligible to apply for a grant for a NABERS Energy assessment conducted between 1 August 2011 and 30 April 2012. This will exclude government departments and organisations that are able to undertake self assessments.

Funding is limited and grants will be processed in the order they are received by the City of Perth.
